Experience Wine Country, Taste the North Fork April 7-9, 2017
The North Fork Promotional Council has received a grant from East End Tourism Alliance through an Empire State development grant program – to launch “taste the towns” a multi town program to promote the craft beverage industry with convenient shuttle service in each of the five east end towns.
The NFPC is excited to be kicking off “Taste the North Fork” the weekend of April 7-9, 2017
This is the 2017 incarnation of Taste North Fork, which previously involved free shuttle buses looping around the North Fork for Veteran’s Day weekend. This year the event is in the spring, and includes weekend packages as well as the shuttles.
Taste the North Fork brings travelers to the North Fork in two ways:
ESCAPE FOR THE WEEKEND
- A two night stay at a local North Fork B&B or inn
- A premium wine dinner at a local restaurant on Saturday night with concierge transport to and from lodging
- Special tasting event on Saturday and Sunday, again with transport from lodging to the tasting events, connecting to the free shuttle service thereafter
- North Fork shuttle service as detailed below
* If package participants come to the North Fork by Hampton Jitney or LIRR, complimentary transport will connect them with their lodging, Friday evening and Sunday. Restrictions apply.
PLAY FOR THE DAY
The free shuttle stops at wineries and hamlet downtowns to enable visitors to sample North Fork’s wine and farm-to-table freshness carefree. These shuttles easily connect with mass transit; we encourage everyone who wishes to use them to take the LIRR or Hampton Jitney to the North Fork.

Winterfest 2017, Feb 24-March 19,2017
Meet the great people on the East End and all around. Main Street Agency is honored to be the marketing coordinator for this event and all creatives.
Entering its 10th anniversary year, Winterfest is poised to continue within a new framework that broadens the benefits to the entire East End region of Long Island. In 2017, Winterfest will be managed by a steering committee representing a broad collective of businesses reflecting the East End of Long Island including wineries, breweries, restaurants, hotels, performing arts, art galleries, and retail businesses. Music offered during the festival will be arranged by host venues.
Award Winning:
Winterfest – Jazz on the Vine 2012 is awarded the “National Destination Marketing Award” by Americans for the Arts and Destination Marketing International. This prestigious award was important to validating our work and our vision, which has now increased the amount and types of events, and is expanding our overall musical selection. Winterfest will now encompass not only talented emerging artists, but has added to its multi-genre schedule top name artist’s in a wide variety of musical styles including: jazz, folk, singer-songwriter, country, soul and more.2016 will widen the fests scope even more by adding an exciting schedule of non-musical events, including “The Art of Wine”, food and family events.
What You Can Expect:
Winterfest – Live On The Vine is a four week, mid-winter music, wine and performing arts festival, that takes place throughout Long Island’s unique vineyard tasting rooms, legendary theatre’s, breweries, hotels and other historic venues on the East End.
Over 70 performers, and 25 events in over 30 locations, you will experience the best music in a diverse menu of styles, east of NYC. Drink delicious and rare wines, enjoy local specialties and end the night at one of our romantic hotels and B&Bs! You can spend an afternoon or weekend with us, or come for the entire festival!
The 2017, 10th Annual Winterfest – Live on the Vine, will run from Friday, February 24th. thru Sunday March 19, 2017.
